Cheers,

Adrian

Worked here for a few months now. Fitz, met your brother a while ago - make him build something with 6 cylinders will ya? ;)

Mag is definitely available in all states and territories of Australia so ask for it by name. Should be on the shelves today.

The BA ute on the cover doesn't have the Procharger any more either. Looking at it front on shows the inlets of two Turbonetics Y2K's! Insane! Just what the car needed - 2500hp worth of turbos!

Adrian

Well currently in the build at our shop we have my GTR drag/street car, a datto 1000 ute with a a14 turbo (trying to talk them into 13b turbo), a 1600 with a sr20 turbo, a 1600 with a big hp fj20t, and another 1600 with a fj20t that is just getting a freshen up (trim, paint etc), and we are on the look out for a early ford rod... so i guess the GTR is a six but its not like the orange 1600 quality wise, so sorry Adrian but there might be a wait before a cool six is done haha I will be trying though!!!! ahah

Have you talked to paul about featuring any SC drag cars or anything? I know of a few cars here in canberra that would make good features if he wanted to push some later model stuff, like a full tube chassis registered r33!!??

GAH! I'd love to know how you can get a full tube chassis car registered?!?!?!

The future content of the mag is at the editor's discretion, not mine. In saying that, I'm not exactly here for my experience with blown, injected Hemi's, am I?

Adrian

Yes I would also like to know that, as I argued with the owner when he told me called him a tosser etc among other things, then I talked to the engineer thats doing the and he said it won't be problem its all under control, I dont understand!!!?? I think its one of those situations where the less you know the better!!!

Well this thing is apparently approved for running 24"x 13" road rubber on the rear and 21"x7 on the front, its going to look pretty gay in my opinion, much like a tractor I have seen the rims and simply shook my head 24's on a skyline so gay!! his race rubber is 33"x 18" i believe!!!

I dont know if the stude will be registarable, not just becasue of the tire size, the thing hanging out the front could pose some probs also.

Ray Spence-Canberra Motor Works, only does ACT rego though so that could be an issue???

Carbon hat and 8/71 are long gone :P:P

Different, more 'below the hood' ideas are happening as we speak.

Talk to the engineers for me - Paul is reading this over my shoulder and drooling!

Adrian

Yeah i'll mention it to him, the killer for any new projects are the new roll cage laws they have imposed in ACT, no bars in front of the driver, the r33 will get in becasue it is a project that was in the build and approved before the new laws. See for my gtr i will be putting all the roll cage in except the front hoops, getting it registered then welding them in and hope I never have to go over the inspection station!!!! I will definately ask him though, tell Paul it would be ACT rego though!

Did Paul buy Steves Procharger???? nah actually don't tell me, i'd rather it be a suprise!

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
