Primordial
Hi guys, I'm getting some prints done of the image below through the guy who took the image - Easton Chang. If anyone is interested, please let me know and we may be able to work out a discount for multiple purchases. Keep in mind these are prints on photo type paper, they arent just normal paper posters. 18”x12” (bit larger than A3) on photo matte paper - $35 posted 32”x”20” (extra large) on photo matte/glossy paper - $85 posted 30”x50” (Huuuge) on photo matte/glossy paper - $125 posted (you’ll have trouble finding a place to hang this) Cheers. Mr. Oizo
are these ones cheaper than his price for the americans/everyone else? also can you get the other ones he's doing prints of? Primordial
To be honest I dont know! I think the only other pics he's doing prints of at the moment are of the Pioneer NSX.. I do know that these prints are cheaper, simply because he got 250 printed! By comparison, the NSX 32 x 20" is on sale from him for $55 AUD + shipping. You can get the NSX prints, and cheap posters here: http://forums.dieselstation.com/index.php?showtopic=16764 This R34 shot is a single print (by special request from me!), so it's more expensive ($85 posted). If there are more people interested, he might be able to do them for less.. kasanoff
I'd be interested (prolly in a couple of weeks though)... I noticed on that site you've posted, he's listed that the NSX prints would be individually signed - is that likely to be included too? Also, I hope he's not restricting orders to paypal only... Primordial
Yes, he offered to personally sign the pictures too. I haven't discussed payment methods with him yet, although I dont see why direct bank deposit would be out of the question. IMO The only reason for paypal on the other sale is because they were all international customers, so therefore paypal is actually a cheaper option due to the bank fees involved with international wire transfers. Primordial
are those sizes correct? Yeah they are correct, The height/width were swapped around though... 32”x20” (extra large) on photo matte/glossy paper - $85 posted 50”x30” (Huuuge) on photo matte/glossy paper - $125 posted (you’ll have trouble finding a place to hang this) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/122096-evl-r34-prints/#findComment-2254562 Share on other sites
75coupe
How are these printed? Are they photographic output or are they crappy inkjet....? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/122096-evl-r34-prints/#findComment-2267268 Share on other sites
Primordial
They are industrial photographic printers. I would expect at least 300 dpi too. If you know Easton Chang, you would know that he wouldnt print anything that looks less than perfect. As mentioned in the first post they are printed on high quality matte/glossy photographic paper. They dont make crappy desktop inkjets that print 127cm x 76cm Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/122096-evl-r34-prints/#findComment-2267377 Share on other sites
wilch
I can guarantee you they are not inkjet pieces of crap. and neither are mine!! They are actual professionally done photographic prints done on photographic paper. NOT INKJET. They're printed with a big f'ing machine. Simbera
Sorry to bring this up from the dead a bit, but I was just wondering if either of the guys advertised on here would be willing and/or able to do posters of things other than cars, and if so the pricing and so on. I can supply the image, I just want it at poster quality or as high a quality as possible. <^> Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/122096-evl-r34-prints/#findComment-2366207 Share on other sites
Primordial
Im sure that if you approached the right person, they would be able to get anything printed at the right price. Although, you have to be clear about many copies you want, and on what sort of paper (eg. photo paper) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/122096-evl-r34-prints/#findComment-2367545 Share on other sites
