After Installing Bosch 040 Fuel Pump...

looks like I need a check valve! Where to get one from and how/where is it installed?

p.s. I installed the pump myself.

He did say some so who knows.. At the time I knew of a few other 33's running around with 044's and didn't have problems.

Maybe he came across one with a crimped return line and didn't realise.

Can I please ask how everyone got around the "bracket" and "sock" problem with the Bosch 040? When I first installed mine, we had major fuel surging problems at "almost empty" levels. We took this a being due to a missing "sock".

Also, I get the same problem on start up... might look into this check valve thing - I'm pretty sure we removed it
