Ok...this is my situation...I've just bought a 94 R32 GTR which came with the standard radio and with the factory optional CD stacker..... The CD Stacker works fine but the head unit is in bad shape.

I've been told that if I replace the head unit that the CD Stacker will no longer work???

So to keep the CD stacker working I thought if I buy another (better condition) head unit from another Skyline that it'll all work. So I bought a head unit off a R34 the other week and i'm ready to try the installation this week...

So will this work and allow me to still use the stacker??????

I guess the connectors will be different between the R32 and R34 radios???

Cheers

if you have a 94 model gtr, why not just take out all the old crap factory stereo equipement and start from scratch with a nice new headunit and some half decent speakers and maybe an amp and sub.

Just about all headunits these days play mp3 cd's which can hold the same effective size as about 10 normal cd's which is far better than an old school stacker, in my opinion.

But if you are trying to keep the classic look of the dash then thats fair enough, not sure if the 34 headunit will be compatible or not though...
