Malecki
I had my 33 broken into in pyrmont as well, worst feeling geting back to your car and having smashed glass everywhere, i recommend you call newtown police station as they caught the guys in action a few cars in front of mine. This was a few months ago, who knows they could be back on the streets Police told me they are well known in the area for break ins, could be the same guys? Hope this helps, good luck ! I have reported it to the police and the insurance companyi just got third party + fire and theft upto $5000 it had a three point immobiliser on it but they still got away with it. stolen yesterday 13/07/06 from Pyrmont - SYDNEY here is a pic....please help me find it!!!! AndyMac
Pyrmount is close enough too the City, Redfern and Surry Hills. Not too mention way too close too Glebe for a GTR, or any other valuable cars too be left on the street for any time at all. Hope you get your car back. DJ984
I would like to know what type of alarm / 3 point imobiliser the car had when it was stolen.Which ones work and which dont? They all work... do you know how easy those things are to by-pass? it's actually quite scary. (IMO) Hidden kill switches set up for different parts of the engine (eg fuel rail) would actually be more effective as there's no standards for what they're connected to and there's no standard location for where they are. Silver-Arrowz
Should install a "kill" switch on a baseball bat! Pyrmont is a horrible place to park your car. My previous car got broken into at the parking station. Some of my work mates had their cars broken into repeatedly.
