Well after a whole lot of dicking around with changing housings, actuators, bored out wastegate etc my new turbo finally went on with boost controlled. only problem is, first few power runs it started pushing coolant out of the overflow bottle! pressure gauge was fitted to the radiator and everything is fine until it hits boost where pressure rised to 18psi before it was shut down. so it seems my head gasket has taken a walk and now the car is once again off the road...

So now i need to find a new headgasket ASAP. due to the fact its been bored for 82mm pistons i can't just go and grab a genuine rb20det gasket so my choices are either getting a custom one made out of copper locally or finding someone selling a tomei 83.5mm bore 1.8mm stainless gasket!

anyone got any suggestions as to where i could locate the tomei gasket in australia? i know i can get one from nengun or greenline but really cant wait 3-4 weeks for the freaking thing.

Cheers

Karl
