hi guys i have just completed the following mods

Plazmamman intercooler and pipping

gcg hi-flowed rb20 turbo

pod filter

turbosmart custom plump back

catch can

3"stainless turbo back ex-zorst with hi flow stainless cat

E-boost2 controller

as i have the e-boost2 controller i can change the boost preshure and i can also change the gate preshure.

Can any help me as to what is a safe amount of boost to run and if you know i would like to know the safe gate preshure aswell thanks

Depending on the specs of the turbo its hard to say. With stock engine management you arent going to be able to get the most out of it. Depends on the condition of the motor and how you drive it.

Also its pressure.

the pressure you should run, is the pressure that the vehicle was tuned to run...

so, in other words, get it on a dyno, wind a little bit of boost into it at a time, and check for detonation, check the AFR's etc.

however, having said that, at a guess, around 14psi to 1bar 'should' be okay, providing everything is in good condition, like ur fuel pump etc...

again, get it on a dyno and check, don't go by a 'generic' answer that someone gives you online, as each car is different
