i want to improve the suspension on the car, i dont want 2 use coilovers (2 stiff) just want a good shock and spring set up that would give the car a lower look and improve the handeling of the car, its not for drifting etc so no need for coilovers, i am going to install the rb25det, keep this in mind when recommending

thanks

Tein Super Streets... 5kg front, and 4kg rear spring rates.. Height adjustable.

Pretty good value too if I remember correctly... Bilstein option may be worth looking further into as well

Coilovers are only hard if you have hard springs in them. Mine arent too bad as my springs refect that. So you need to look at spring rate.

That said if you dont want coilovers thats fine. Id be going the bilstein option either way you run. They are the best bang for buck shock you can get (they are not the cheapest tho, just the next best is x4 or so the price). I've got them on mine and love them. If you want the bilsteins best bet is to PM Sydney Kid.

yea bilstein is the way to go .......i had my jic coilovers rebuilt with biltsetin inserts and softer spring was 8k front and 6 rear and swapped the rears in to the front and gots some new eibach springs for the rear and its is so much nicer now .....bilsteins made a huge difference.

i had initially just swapped int he softer springs but it was handling badly... but when the bilsteins went in it made a huge difference ....ie nice to cruise with... takes out the smaller bumpers but stiffens up heaps in cornering .....still alot firmer than stock though
