Bosch Fuel Pump In My R33 Gtst

Hi Guys,

I have a mate with a r33 gtst like mine. He has exhaust, 12psi on stock turbo, fmic, & pod, and has recently upgraded to the Bosch internal 044 i think it is, and reckons towards higher revs the car goes harder.

I have same mods as him, but instead i have the r34 GTT cooler. I am planning to upgrade to the bosch fuel pump, as the stock fuel pump is more then 10 yrs old. But do you guys reckon it will make a difference in performance, especially towards higher revs???

Anyone done this before??

ur def pushing the stock fuel pump at that sort of power so i think u'll benefit from the fuel pump in that sense. thats where the old pump would be being hindered so its natural that it would go harder at high revs. Def. get a new pump, u could go the cheaper bosch 040 too.

sounds good, which one is better suited for the r33 gtst with just mild mods, and are both strait fit to replaceing the stock fuel pump?? cheers

sounds like you're after the 040. if your mates is in tank, it'll be the 040, not the external 044.
