Hey Guys,

Firstly I did search but didn't find anything again!

Just a question regarding the 3 guages in the centre.

What size aftermarket will go in there?

How do ou get them out? Just pop the cover?

Is it as easy as hooking up the existing cables? (oil temp)

And also can i use the factory oil pressure sensor and wiring with an aftermarket guage??

Obviously boost and voltage will be easy. but the oil temp is the only concern?

Cheers

Josh

1. pop out the aircon vents with a flat head screw driver on the lhs

2. remove two screws holding the center gauge.

3. flip up to remove.

Also do a search on "triple gauge" in the forums, the conversion to non-factory gauges has been done before.

^^ perfect,

I tried every thing except triple guage,

Will do now

Thanks

Josh

No worries.

As for what gauges fit in there, 2" / 52mm gauges fit in there no problems. Some don't quite look right with the bezel on ( i think autometer might be one of these but don't quote me on that ).

The question about using the factory oil pressure signal - i had a look at the unit last night and there's just a loom going to the back of a sealed unit. I'm guessing one of them is the oil pressure signal and can be tapped in to but i'll have to check my manual to be sure.

Interested in seeing how yours turn out so be sure to post pics mate! :O

Speaking of this my tripple cluster rattles alot and is really annoying for me.

What should i use to put between it and the cars dashboard to get rid of the rattles? Some sort of sound deadener? and where would i get it from?

Use foam weather strips that you would normallly use between door jams. The type that you can peel off on one side to reveal an adhesive.

I use that on anything from the cold air ducts to the gaps around my panels when soundproofing my boot.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
