Mates R32

My mate has a R32 & got an EBC installed & it has different settings/modes etc but they have set up std boost as 7psi...i thought they were 10psi std? they also told him you cant use boost control from a r32 in a r33 which i thought was possible by just swapping actuators which he now would not be using since he has EBC?

They run 10 psi stock and about 12 max, so maybe whoever set it up got it confused with a 33. You can use a r33 controller in a r32 they're just high on something, dont need to swap the actuator, the r32 actuator runs only one boost pressure, but a boost controllers gonna over-ride your actuator anyway

yea i thought it was 10psi...re the actuator i meant using a r32 one (his) in a r33 (mine) so then i would have 10psi instead of 5/7psi cause yea as you said now that he has EBC it would be overriding it

the min amount of boost you can run is what the wastegate was, unless someone comes up with a EBC with a compressor built in to pressurise the air between it and the wastegate to higher than what is in the intake.
