angel21
Hey all, got out of work today and what do i find my door handle jammed up(the whole thing) and my lock destroyed. Thank god the little bastards didn't even get into the car but it is going to be a pain in the arse to replace/fix. If i came accross them i swear i would rip off there nuts and make them watch me grind them into mince meat. Now i have that off my chest is there any place in adelaide that would be a start to look for new one? price? Nightcrawler
Sorry to hear about it! You'd be surprised what a crash repairer could do with that .... I had my S15 fixed (had 50% the damage of yours) including respray door for $350. I would ask at Nissan dealers for the actual door handle and lock - should be easy to get (mine was fixable). Expect about $200 for handle and lock I would think. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/137328-attempted-break-in/#findComment-2555045 Share on other sites
Deluxe
Yeh sorry to hear also, but i'm with Andrew, hit up a crashie for a price on fixing the handle or painting a replacement, but as for the lock, thats always a hard one, you might need new locks for the doors and in saying that your ingnition key may differ then! GFXman
makes me so mad. has happened to me several times. I dunno what's worse, the fact they destroy your lock and handle or the fact they are so useless they couldn't get in. die and rot in a gutter imo Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/137328-attempted-break-in/#findComment-2563726 Share on other sites
