R31 Cas / Distributer

I've gotten hold of a CAS / Distributer from a VL, but I cannot for the life of me get the car going in a months mucking around.

I've read bits and pieces, but no concrete evidence if VL distributer is compatible or not, there seems to be mixed opinions, the VL / R31 do use different brands of distributer though.

So im chasing an R31 distributer / CAS in good condition if anybody has one please let me know. My cars been garaged for a month now
