haha wat do u think. focussing on performance mods...fmic, Power FC +hand held controller with dyno tune, exhaust, got my apexi :) lol probably should invest in some good brakes etc etc. im gonna be doin style mods too i.e body kit, might do interior later...no subs this time, jus some good 6x9 and splits. and anyway a ricer is only a ricer if they havent got the performance to go with their looks :):D

I was out for a while tonight. Plenty of police out. Went past the RBT at alex 3 times and never got pulled over. had a laugh at some little buzz box with leds in the exhausts.

yer. moved from alex carpark. and went to the chemist carpark. probably 10min after i got there, i paddy wagon pulled up at macca's. then 10min after that 2 squad bikes pulled in. they sat in macca's staring at everyone, noting some number plates no doubt :)

1) You turn scanner on

2) you enter scanner frequency/s that you wish to scan (knowing what police channels there are helps allot).

3) Press Scan.

4) Hear the police calling you in

5) Put your foot to the floor and crank your boost to 17psi.

6) Drive like your mothers life depended on it.

7) Go to sleep.

is step 7 mandatory..

ok what channels do police use..?

Can anyone recomend a intercooler for me that will be reasonably easy to fit and they are or have used previously and would swear by? Also where they bought it and cost?

GKTECH is excellent. i SWEAR BY IT. $350

but if u got money do what andy says.

Buy the blitz LM...around 900 from autobarn...no cutting required

but i love my angle grinder.. i have dropped the angle grinder on my foot when i was wearing thongs while i was cutting seat rails..

and smacked my finger with it while cutting a reo.

good times.

actually its goin in on monday for a forged enigne. Je's/eagles/big port job/ cams etc etc should be good, carnt wait to run more boost. Go the rattley sr20s :)

how about your self?? anything new??

YAY SR POWAH..

one is rattley more than the other... but the other runs 12psi and the other only runs 9.. time to max the shitty 25g out.

what cams u buying and what turbo..

atm i got a gt30/71 running HKS step 1 cams. ill be using the step 1 cams for run in then upgrading to some hks step2s 272s with 11.5lift or maybe 264s with 12lift. then either a t67 25g series or td06 l2. no ebay turbos thats for sure..lol

still gong iwth the rb25 conversion??

Markimak...Police channels already in it...You interested?

yeah i am.

is it like the one in fast and the furious that the yellow GTR driver uses..?

im keen to see pics of ur setup SRpwr. read a fair bit that the turbo is pointless unless u got some cams to flow some more.

trust turbos make me happy in the pants..

yeah the RB25 will be going in as soon as i get back from the philippines..

i still need a RB25 gearbox. and alternator.. anyone..?

youse is a crazy nigga sr. wack in a 2jz-gte :)

and wassup zac, did u have a crash, engine probs.........or did u have an encounter of the blue and red kind?

I'm not 100% sure it was Zac but there was a silver 33 in the middle of a red and blue disco for ages near pub mooloolaba last night. Didnt get a real good look.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
