i have all wiring but for the pressure sensor and a few T joints and other nipples. anways i can easily buy T joints but does anyone know if i can use an pressure sensor as a replacement?

i think i need the important parts 3, 17,18,19. can anyone help me out. i would be installing this on my car with stock turbo with internal wastegate. what parts DO i DESPERATELY need to find?

As far as i know, from fitting one on a friends car, the original parts you need is 1,2,3,4 also the airfilter nr:13 is a good one to have, other then that its just to go to a shop to buy nipples, hoses and clamps in appropriate sizes.

Some products have a t-joint with a restrictor inside, but as far as i recall the AVCR doesnt.

On the solenoid there is 3 holes, but youll only need 2 nipples and a screw or similar to block the last hole off.

When mounting the solenoid its always good to use some sort of rubberplate or similar between the mountingplate and the car.

Hope that helps some!

-Cheers!

lol did you buy the AVCR off ebay? That one went for a bargain price!

If you already have the wiring harness, then you only really need to get the pressure sensor. All the rest of the parts you could get from your local auto store.

read

http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/docs/...powerfc-faq.htm

and goto the section:

62. -> Boost display without the Boost Control Kit?

27. -> How does the AVC-R compare to the PowerFC boost controller kit?

17. -> What other optional parts are available for the PowerFC?

i dont have a pfc. but just the standard computer.

oh i get it, so i can purchase that "map sensor" as its known since the pressure sensor and map sensor are virtually the same?

"By default as the PowerFC will not show boost pressure as it has no method of reading it in via the stock ECU loom. If you purchase a suitable map sensor and connect it to the PowerFC boost control kit port then the hand controller will display boost pressure. The boost control kit uses a Denso map sensor which is part #DPS 310 2000a - Denso 949940 6270 5V and the wiring loom cable/plug can be brought from Apexi which is around $40 AU. The cable is listed as the 3pin boost control harness. Nengun has this listed under Electronics -> Apexi -> D Jetro Option Parts"

thanks heaps Paul

can anyone else confirm this.

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
