Its a mates car from work....he's always looking for feedback on it....well, actually I always just give him feedback on it like it or not :)

Just quietly I reckon it looks pretty good...one of the best 33 GTS-Ts in Perth for sure.....although I never tell him that :)

HOW MUCH POWER IS IT PULLING????

Cheers for the wraps on the RX7 fellas, appreciate it. I guess show cars are one of those things.... some love em, some hate em. Everyone has their reasons.

The car itself has only been built in less than 12 months and it has a long way to go so expect more crazy/extreme mods coming. I really enjoy competing and I really enjoy letting my imagination run wild. I am just a guy who loves cars and show cars in particular.

With regards to me being foolish.... yer maybe. lol but lets face it.... who wants to see a boring show car? I know I dont and I know the people who walk through the door at the show don't. When they leave its those extreme machines they remember. The people get their say and on the weekend they voted LE RX7 as Peoples Choice, and by a ridiculously large margin (even after only half the votes were counted).

The actual show itself was a little dissapointing, on many levels. The numbers through the door on Saturday were real low but it did pick up on Sunday. Overall though it could have been a lot better.

I enjoyed the cars at the show with a fair few new cars on display, was good to see.

Glad some of you like the RX7.... off to Sydney in 2 weeks though for Final Battle....

The car leaves on the 17th via TNT Premium. Should be ok.... *fingers crossed*

The "rolla" had a safe trip last time I went to Final Battle so am expecting the same.....

agree with most coments about the show.it was a **** show, but there were reasons for it,like the show being canned last year which was disapointing.the pas shows in 2003,04 were fantastic,i was there in 03 when nathan webbs T51R skyline GTR pulled 652 hp at the wheels, then a record for a street registered GTR.since then ants GTR got the record with 885hp at the wheels.bring on motovation i say!!!they look like smashing the record amount of cars for the show, looks like about 700-850 cars this year!!! :)

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
