Hi Guys,

I am putting my GTR up for sale. As a few of you may know, I have only had the car for approx 4-5 months but I slipped a disc in my back a few months ago and have been advised to sell as the car is just not helping my recovery process overly well.

Here is a little about the car-

White 1990 GTR with N1 Body Kit.

30,000km R33 engine put in by Creatd Motorsport just before I bought it, body has 120,000kms.

Extreme Heavy Duty clutch put in by Creatd for me before I picked it up (4 months ago)($600)

White After market illuminous dash (blue or green).

Momo Race Steering Wheel, Momo Gear Knob and Pedals.

Split Fire Coils 1 month old. ($600)

New exhaust made up from performance exhaust as the other was too loud for me with a new cat. ($800)

Ohlins adjustable coil overs.

CD Player ($250) & New Alarm.($250) + labour= $800 all up.

Tinted windows by Tint Professor ($265)

Seats in Perfect Condition.

Very well looked after in short time as this was to be a keeper, but my back is not responding well to the low ride or the use of the Heavy Duty Clutch as this is aggrevating my sciatic nerve.

As you can see I have spent quite a bit of money getting this car nice and idy and is approximately 90% complete, the car had a stock engine and all belts including timing belt were replaced when engine went into cat about 5,000km ago. This is a great looking car and is ready for anyone wanting a stock solid GTR as this has been my daily driver for 4 months.

Price- $22,000

If you are keen to purchase or have a trade in mind, let me know and you can call me on 0401-004-999 to discuss car further and I can fill you in more on this beauty.

Thanks for looking and all the best.

Genuine buyers only thanks.

Jamie.

Yeh I am a sucker for a good GTR or twin turbo, but it looks like my back has said enough and I need to listen. So my loss is someone elses gain. Thanks WLDCRD.

I am open to offers to as it is my everyday driver, I cant spend too much time driving this baby. As far as trades go, I think i will have to stay away from the skylines for now, so thanks for the offers guys but maybe something more comfortable. It is a very regretful sale and will impress on inspection. The interior is immaculate and the back seats look like they have never been sat in.

Jamie, sorry to hear about the injury. I'm recovering from 3 years of a ruptured disc at L5-S1 and a herniation at L1-2. Last surgery was 3 months ago now. At that time I could no longer walk due to nerve damage.

I drive the GTR33 everyday after installing Recaro seats and SK's Bilstein suspension and it is very comfortable but can be a little jiggly on cold mornings until the shocks warm so all may not be lost. I did spend a fair bit of time driving my V8 Soarer about with heated leather seats and airbag suspension but it lacked lateral support. I have good recovery now from my surgery and support from my Chiro (that my surgeon wanted me to see) who has treated the nerves and strengthened my back so I am now better than I have been in 3 years.

Good luck with the sale but there may be an alternative to getting rid of the GTR.

Hello Jamie,

Im very interested as im in the market for a GTR....

I've just tried to call ur mobile but went thru to msg bank, so i'll try you later on.

Cheers

Erno

Thanks GTRgeoff. Yeh I know what you have been going through and am so glad to hear that your recovery is going great. I had a double disc herniation at L4-5 and L5-S1, spent 15 months lying on the ground, OUCH!! I think now for the benefit of my lifestyle that is so important to me that I really need to make a smart decision here and probably move on, of course until I can afford the new GTR coming out in 2007-08. Keep up the great recovery and will keep you posted with the outcome.

Erno, great to speak with you and the type of person I would like the GTR to go to. Talk to you on sunday.

    • Checked with amayama and nope, the full S2 manual set is not available anymore. Unsurprising, but still disappointing as the ? on availability gave a glimmer of hope.
    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
