Hi, I have an R32 GTR, I live in the UK, I do all my own maintenance on the car, & I have developed a slight problem that I need help with.

A few months ago my son & I replaced the tired engine with a low mileage R33 GTR lump. At the same time I fitted the Hicas lock out washers to the rear rack and unplugged the pump.

I have also bled the attessa 4wd system.

The problem I have is that when the car is on full lock there is a massive drag like the brakes are on and the torque split gauge goes right up. This is with the vehicle at a stad still and the more I apply power, the more the gauge goes up.

Other than this the car performs faultlessly, there are no lights on the dash, & the red LED in the ETS control unit is not flashing.

I have noticed that the torque gauge does move on hard acceleration even when the rears are not spinning.

Any ideas?

Strange as it sounds, check the TPS connection is secure.

That's the longitudinal G-sensor at work.
