Passage31
Can anybody please help? I am in the process of converting my R31 passage from RB20ET to an R32 RB20DET but i cant get it started!! The engine cranks over and i have checked there is fuel getting to the rail but it sounds like there is no spark to get it going. The self diagnostic mode says its the ignition signal system. I have wired up the 8 of the nine wires under the dash; ign, start, fuel, neutral switch, earth, speed sensor, tacho (if it works) and the AC switch. I didnt hook up the "cold start valve" wire because i wouldnt have a clue where it goes. And the permanent power for the ECU is connected under the bonnet off the 31 loom. Is there any other wires on the 32 engine that have to be connected? thanks. d0p3y
Checked Spark plugs? Checked the leads? What about the stater motor? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/14407-helpconversion-trouble/#findComment-290804 Share on other sites
Passage31
Its not the starter motor as it started on the last engine. That side of the engine runs on the car loom. I think its got more to do with the wiring than engine itself.
