Problem With Sides Skirts

I have installed a pair of skirts on my R33.

These skirts i have go underneath my door and follors the contours inside the door jamb.

I screw them from inside the wheel arch and a few screws in the door sill.

The problem i have is it still rubs the bottom of my door, not much but enough to rub off the paint in some areas.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

Have also thought about shaving abit off, but its only about 3mm thick.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is that your car in your picture? Are you fitting the JUN Bodykit?

well the side skirts have to be glued down. by the look in the display pic i see that your car will be having a re spray so when that happens they will glue the sides down properly.

THanks for your help guys, yes they will be urethaning the skirts on when it gets sprayed next week, just not sure if it will still clear the bottom of the door.

Try raising the door a smidge.

thats wats happened to my side skirts atm.. its not a good fit.. make sure u glue it down and dont let rocks get into the gaps

try using a flat piece of wood say 50 cm and placing over the jam bit n hammering it down abit. thats how the bidy kits place do it...or cut the skirt so that it aligns to the jam that runs the length of the door so nothing is over the jam bit.

thanks for your help guys, i will try the wood bashing technique and possibly ask my panel beater to lift the door.
