well i know where to park for the nats as the area surrounding EPIC can get quite congested. We could all meet up in Dickson, the nearest shopping area, then drive up the road to the parking areas before going into the nats. it depends on what times/days people are arriving as most of the festivities occur on the saturday, especially at night :P

Friday night would be a good time to meet up. We could get together at the Tradies carpark at Dickson & you could lead the cruise from there. What time would you suggest?

Friday night, mmmmmmmmmm, my posse might be out at that time. What about mid afternoon? Like around 4 or 5? Through to like 8-9?

I might just turn up for the meet then back off to my gang.

Yeah, thats what I thought. Mid-late arvo, then off to do our own thing. Lets call it 5.30 till whenever.

I wouldn't cruise on the friday night, unwritten rule of summernats: locals keep car in garage on friday night. the cops are out in force and basically block off the main cruising routes after 10pm. an earlier cruise could work though, if we wanted to meet up, head around the lake or something for a few shots and a cruise through the city?

I agree there Leshy. Since Rob will not be joining us due to his tree excursion, it looks like it will be the two of us plus Alex. Should we settle on 6pm Friday, we could meet at the carpark in Dickson outside Woollies, then have a nice leisurely cruise around the city, have a few photos near the parliamentary triangle, then back to Dickson around 8pm. We can then head off our own ways from there. How does that sound? :)

sounds good to me. i'll be around for it. I was talking to marc yesterday, he still doesn't know the outcome of his accident (write-off or repairable) but he's getting around in his SSS Bluebird at the moment. I can't remember, but he might be hooking up with us too.

All other stageas heading to the Nats, join us on friday for a little cruise.

    • Pads for R32 GTS-t, R32 GT-R non V-Spec (Sumitomo), R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t are all interchangeable. R34 GT uses a 2x piston caliper, hence it didn't fit.
    • Checked with amayama and nope, the full S2 manual set is not available anymore. Unsurprising, but still disappointing as the ? on availability gave a glimmer of hope.
    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
