Its time to buy a 4WD to tow a boat so i am selling my baby. This car is like new and perfect in everyway. Was imported to OZ with only 2000kms and 6mths old. The car comes with full service history and is accident free (still on its original clutch). Never seen a race track and if you find anything wrong with this car i will refund the inspection costs. The car will be totally stock and has 42,000kms.

Considering offers

Cheers

Your advertisement in Unique Cars says that you've spent $25,000 on modifications...

Could you please elaborate on what you've done to the car? It looks very nice.

Cheers!

I have decided to sell the car less all the bits.

But the car has 3 pce 18" wheels with brand new SO-3 rubber, TV VCD player with front and rear splits 2 8" rockford pro subs all sound equipment is top of the range and ready for competition, minor engine mods with Power FC, full exhaust, top of the range alarm, lowered, tinted windows, tuned by Eric Engineering.

I have had good offers on all the bits so i can sell with or without the add ons.

Mesh

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks

I'm confused. Are they the modifications you have left on the car after taking the rest off? Or are they the mods you're going to take off?

Please list EXACTLY what comes with the car.

Im happy to sell the car with or without mods. I have buyers for all the mods and i can get more money for the car if i return it to original, but i cant be stuffed taking the stereo out. The car has no holes drilled into it to fit the sound system so making it all original without a trace is easy.

The sound system is worth over 12k so i dont want to give it away!!

I have had a lot of interest from this forum so heres my mobile number 04 19 04 04 04 . Instead of sending me PM's give me a call and i can explain the car a bit better

Cheers

He he, I saw you coming out of the Hockey ground on Auburn Rd today. I was stalking you in my blue 318i BMW... The car is louder than I expected but looks so nice.

I might have to have write a strongly worded email to my fleet manager to tell him why your car would be appropriate for my needs. I am feeling inspired now...

how much are those xenon head lights, and where do you get them?

that is a damn sexy gtr... i've got a white gtst, but it's just not the same with out the pumped guards!!! they really make the gtr look heaps better!

Guest GTR98

Xenon lights are about 3k from what i hear, but im not sure they come with all Series 3 GTRs. They are definetly an improvement over standard lights.

I am offering anyone who wants to buy the car a money back guarantee that if the car is not as i describe "like New" then i will pay for the inspection.

Cheers

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
