Eug
normally you get two types of runs. 1. power run normally three runs (depending on the place) to get a power reading. this will simply just tell you how much power you are making takes about 10 minutes, i've normally paid about $50 give or take. 2. tune they will fiddle with your power fc, safc or whatever gizmo you got, and fine tune air fuel mixtures, boost, etc. like you said find problems and let you know if you want them fixed or not. depending on what and who, you're looking at a couple of hours and looking into alot more money Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/147693-dynotune/#findComment-2756083 Share on other sites

eMsta
dyno run is used to check the power, boost, afr - basically gives an indication as to how healthy the engine is and whether its running rich or lean. From this, the car can be tuned to get maximum power and efficiency. Had mine done 2 days ago (friday 15/12/06), cost $50 at RE Customs in Vic.
