So did we... that's why we always park around about 4 rows from the screen.

Btw, for those who don't know... I will be in my white R33 sedan 4 door... you can't miss it!

Here is a hint... apply some yellow boxed "Rain-x" windscreen polish... incase it rains so you minimise the use of your wipers... amazing stuff so get some... they are available from any motor accessory stores for around 8-9 bux.

Cheers and see ya there!

Sorry guys I wont be able to go on Friday, but I did see the movie on Wednesday night. Enjoyed it, but it wont win any awards for its script (but who cares)

There is a nice change to the plot in this one. If you didnt see the first movie the plot went:

fast cars, racing, fast cars Vin Diesel, fast cars racing, Vin Diesel.

This movie has a very differnen plot:

fast cars, racing, fast cars girls, fast cars racing, girls.

Still dont understand why they would play with Mitsubishi's when they started off with a hot R34? but then I didnt understand why they used Civics in the first movie.

Enjoy.

hrm looks like the weather might take a turn for the worst .... hail etc .... I'm thinking of bailing (like a few others have mentioned to me already).

What... hail... sheit! Oh well... who cares... we will go and watch it again the next weekend! :bahaha:

Da Black R32 and Red TT 300zx will be coming. Will cruise around there about 6.30. If it's shit weather, we were thinking of going to the cinema..?? it will be warm there anyway..mayb after that, go for a cruise..

remember, this is the unbeaten 300zx goin?!!! come on guys..

Power hasn't been checked out! All i know is that it has been chipped, and has HKS cold air induction..i doubt the phat bodykit and 17's have anything 2 do with the power! ha.

It's actually for sale, so it won't be around for much longer in our hands!

It's in the trading post. If you want pics, tell me your e-mail..

Crazy for stock internals - would certainly make a few people sit up and take notice I reckon - says alot for using head gaskets to decompress. Glad I will be doing this when the new turbo is on.

I didnt put my car up - as since the cold wheather has set in she tends to ping a bit on load at around 4.5k, so I was scared:)

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
