Just curious if anyone has personally used or test fitted one of these manifolds.

They seem to be a well-known shop from what I can tell in Thailand, and I'm just curious about the quality.

Whats the application?

the stock item is actually good for am amazing amount of power to begin with

1998 240SX with RB26DETT Swap, full S15 Front End Conversion, all Carbon Fiber Body.

It's a show car for BF Goodrich Tires.

So not really billinos of rwkw's?

so... compare that...

with mine (which i reckon looks heaps better painted rather than polished/chrome)

Thats what you want for show, polished look junkie

The stock thing is really good. Hence the description:

As many RB26 owners will know, the individual throttle bodies on these engines are a fantastic idea but all too often cause more problems then their worth. If they break or lose alignment, it can be very costly to fix or replace.

leaves me a little dubious. I haven't tried one but unless you're looking for something different I'd leave it. Asking the seller for dyno figures etc is usually interesting.

What set-up are you running with that RB26...if you don't mind me asking?

lol am i the only one who's never heard of "Stryder"... they keep talking about it as if it was Bosch or some globally recognised brand. Its made in Thailand... lol

I wouldn't put it on my RB26... esp if you live int he US, coz JDM Tyte engines are all expensive n shit over there. You wouldn't want granules of cast aluminium from Thai crap going into your engine and scoring the sides of your block would you? Don't skimp on the dollars on the small stuff when you're spending big.

Form the looks, u can unbolt it in half, so u could get in there and give it a damn good cleaning of all castings...would be good to see the inside

Id still want to do other things for power before spending on one of those..

painted plenums look like shit IMO

makes the engine bay look lop sided

unless your turbo and pipes and shit are painted too.

2/3s of the shit painted and the other 1/3 not painted looks retarded

paint/coat/what ever the f**k your engine covers

polish the plenum and turbo/piping.

then it looks nice and even and organised

i was having a stir :)

Personally i dont have time to clean polished gear. Paint, clean once in a blue moon and thats it.

If polished gear isnt spot on clean, it looks crud IMO.

But each to thier own

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
