hi guys. I'm looking for a new front bar for my R34 GTT, thats cause i wana istall a new front mount. my current bar is almost all enclosed thats why i think that installing a new front mount with the current front bar wouldn't be a good idea, cause there wouldn't enough air going through. What do you think? Does it realy matter cause i realy like my front bar? and if i have to get 1 what's the best choice in your opinion? A photo of my car has been attached with the current front bar on it

if i t was up to me i would cut out the bar crossmember (part right in the middle and fibreglass it up. leave the whole front open and just get some mesh for the time being til you put your front mount on.

with ur number plate get a bracket and side mount it nexto either or your indicators or in front of the small side vents on the bar. the bar looks good.

modding the bar might cost like 300 to glass and re-spray and that but would be better for you coz dont need to change front bar

plus will make the bar look more aggressive

yeah thats sounds good to me, thats what i wanted to do in the first place but i went to CarMate today and the guys there said you cant cut into your bar and things like that they made it sound like a mission imposible :)

Well its somtimes hard to fiberglass to oem plastic bumpers and get a good bond. Best get ahold of somebody who can plastic weld then go from there.

As for your bumper support you can cut alot out of it . It wont be as strong but you cant modify a car without risking a few boundries.

You bought your car from Japlink like me :D ? Looks like the Japlink yard in your photos.

My car has the exact same kit, but a different rear bar.

Front bar is the same, from the replies in this post it looks like it will take a little bit more than trimming the reo to fit a FMIC to the nissan sports frontbar? I'm planning on buying the just jap intercooler kit.

It's a stock wing it came from Nissan with the body kit and I dnt mind it. Trust me man a lot ppl thought same as you but then changed their mind when I took it off

Did the 7 gaping screwholes left in the rear quarter panels have anything to do with it :D ?

I'm going to take off the corner parts of my wing & just leave the middle peice, just have to organise the time & money to get it done.

Yeah u right mate i did get it from Japlink motors. BTW trust me the holes had nothing to do with it I just like it the way it is you know. It's an original bar plus it doesn't look good without it.

      I don't. I mean, mine's not a GTR, but it is a 32 with a lot of GTR stuff on it. But regardless, I typically buy from local suppliers. Getting stuff from Japan is seldom worth the pain. Buying from RHDJapan usually ends up in the final total of your basket being about double what you thought it would be, after all the bullshit fees and such are added on.

      The hydrocarbon component of E10 can be shittier, and is in fact, shittier, than that used in normal 91RON fuel. That's because the octane boost provided by the ethanol allows them to use stuff that doesn't make the grade without the help. The 1c/L saving typically available on E10 is going to be massively overridden by the increased consumption caused by the ethanol and the crappier HC (ie the HCs will be less dense, meaning that there will definitely be less energy per unit volume than for more dense HCs). That is one of the reasons why P98 will return better fuel consumption than 91 does, even with the ignition timing completely fixed. There is more energy per unit volume because the HCs used in 98 are higher density than in the lawnmower fuel.

      No, I'd suggest that that is the checklist for pneumatic/hydraulic adjustable systems. I would say, based on my years of reading and complying with Australian Standards and similar regulations, that the narrow interpretation of Clause 3.2 b would be the preferred/expected/intended one, by the author, and those using the standard. Wishful thinking need not apply.

      Yes they do. For some maybe. But for those used the most by abusers, ie Skylines, the numbers are known. The stock eyebrow height for R32/3 Skylines is about 365/375mm or thereabouts. The minimum such heights are recorded in adjacent columns in the database.

      Hmmm, interesting. Makes me wonder whether there is bias as well. It's the cheapest fuel, so it is used for all kinds of ill-maintained shitboxes which are bound to have issues regardless. Nicer cars tend to require higher octane rated fuel and can't use it anyway. FWIW, the official NSW E10 facts page is decent.
