How To Wire Lights Up

hey

my gf just got 2 neons that she wants in her car. I offered to do it but i just realised that i have no f**king clue how to connect any electrical.

How do i connect these neons to a switch???

btw they are for under the dash (if that makes any difference)

Just go buy a switch from DSE.. If the neons don't already have one..

Then grab power from somewhere like behind the cigarette lighter

Wire it up so the ground is always connected and add a switch on the possitive side of things.. I did this in my old corolla sportivo.. worked a charm and looked great at night

P.s. Remember.. Under body neons are a no-no and make baby jesus cry

if i use the cigarette lighter as power do i just connect the negative to the earth which is located underneath the gear shift boot?

As said above, just grab power from behind the lighter, hook a switch in, and ground it anywhere.
