Oh also would there be a chance that a pre-salon meeting could happen

before the show. So that we can meet and greet each other (for those who havn't yet)

and plan out whats happening regarding the autosalon.

What do u's think?

If not its all good.

Awesome :P

Yeah its going to be great....

Well I guess we might have another meeting might be a bit hard and I cant make it to anything this weekend :P ...but you will see everyone at set up Friday night

hey paul any news on what times we have to be there? also how we go for the dyno run any news?

Filo34 ur car is sick looking forward to seeing it at the show.

We should plan an early meet and rock up at the same time as during move in its very long and

can have errors with the paperwork & cars, positioning & club display areas. Also dyno run is usually at a random

time, one of the crew members will come to us and as if any one has sign up for dyno and will let us know

when it is our turn or if its our turn. They do it by singles and groups (clubs) basis.

Cheers mate, looking forward to seeing your car as well as others.

This will be a great time, i reckon.

All,

I have a work off site meeting and I am unsure what time I can get off at this point. Worst outcome, I get there after 5 and have to line up with the masses.

P.S. There is a car cleaning day at my house the weekend before, post up here if you want to join in.

Thanks

So we are arriving on the friday right? From 2pm did I hear? Til when?

Hi :nyaanyaa: - ill be there no later than 1.30pm - gets VERY hectic as the afternoon wears on - if 2004 auto salon was anything to go on it takes ages to get everyone inside then plenty more time to arrange ALL the cars in the best order & to set up flooring / banners / tv's / barriers etc etc etc - dont expect to get out till later in the evening 8-9-10ish ?? - fun -fun -fun - :domokun: - i think if people cant get there till later (like 5ish) theyll just have to get in when they can - we can start arranging an order as the first entrants turn up & slot the late comers in where appropriate or shuffle things about accordingly when everyones inside - but if most of us can be ready to go in together earlier like 2ish that would be best - see you all there - its going to be great - cheers malcolm :worship:

....if i may be so bold !! - shouldnt the best car(s) get the most prominant spot(s).....heheheheheh !! :D - sorry couldnt help myself  - & if i may be extra bold - the idea of this display is simply that - a display ! - not too sure if treating it as a used car lot is in the best interests of the display - we should ALL work together in providing the paying public with the best visual display that we can - im sure that that will become apparent when we're setting up - cant wait - see you all there - malcolm :domokun:

Yer that was discussed was R32-33-34 order with Two nice R32 GTRs on one end and the Two R34s on the other with the R33 in the middle. somethink like malcom car in the middle to draw the crowd around our display. but who know im sure you will change it on the day.

...in the middle MALCOLM middle the in...

- BRILLIANT !! :P

- theres every chance we'll stick to what was discussed at the meeting & every chance that we wont - im trusting that we''ll all get incredibly "creative" on fri. night & whatever happens will be "AMAZING" - that im sure of - yes a stagea would be good !! - & a DR30 & an R31 !! - anyone ?? :(

    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
