I would suggest that Duncan may have issues with his 2 x R32 GTR's at the show.

Duncans car had a broken box and Marks one rolled 5 times in the Targa and is a mess, check out the targa 07 thread in Motosports

Duncan did say he still was displaying his cars even if damaged but maybe not with that much damage >_<

I hope they are ok and repairable

We have one back up car maybe if can still put in paperwork

There might still be a few of us around at our house at 4-5, or we might head down to the Tav after we are finished.

Yeah sound like a plan :O

I don't see the problem... ;)

j/k

Sorry to hear about the Targa mishaps.

....didnt mean it like that  - i wasnt talking about individual cars - rather "models" - meant that you get youre R32 "worshippers" who'll not look past them - & if they're jumbled up with different models side by side say in "build order" it might make for interesting viewing to see the progression/evolution & to perhaps compare side by side the differences/forms ?? - just an idea :) - ill go along with whatever everyone wants :mage:

 So you are for build order or agin? I'm for, but like you am not fussed and will do whatever.

 So you are for build order or agin? I'm for, but like you am not fussed and will do whatever.

Hi  - I think what i was trying to get across was that there is a few ways to display:

* have all the models grouped together in rotation ie: R32-R32-R32-R33-R33-R33-R34-R34-R34 (build order - 1 "progressive")

* have different models next to each other in rotation ie: R32-R33-R34-R32-R33-R34-R32-R33-R34 (build order - 2 "progressive/regressive")

* & something different ?

- was never trying to play one individual car off against another just seeing how the models could be seperated/cojoined no matter what each car looked like - though maybe if there was 2 red cars for instance might be a good idea to have a different colour inbetween !? :)

- im totally easy as these ideas are simply that :mage:

What colour do we all have.

Me-white 33

Paul-black 34

Adam-white 33

Abo-white 34

Nick-red 33

Malcom-silver 33

The rest should add what coulour they have.

...ooops nearly !! - malcolms car is actually (custom) gun metal (dark grey) - :P

Hell yeah, both cars are still going as long as autosalon allow a rolled car in!!!

lol I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they think. I've got Mark's car here so it can get there - but 5 rolls is a lot. One window not broken and the boot lid is straight. Everything else is not.

Mine on the other hand is still in Melb atm and I can't confirm the transporter will get it here it time.....and it has a black guard and stuffed bumper - I am fine to still display it if makes it in time.

And I do have 2 banners.

Give me a call re the barbie Paul my calendar looks much better now Targa is over.

Targa took its toll!

Man how awesome would it be if Mark's car could be there. That would f**kin rock in my books.

I am coming with track tyres and fire extinguisher installed. I also have a special new mod coming that will blow some people's minds. No telling, those of you who already know, ok?!

is don! is good!

LOL

I won't be displaying my car this year, unfortunately. I can't afford to do it at the moment, all my money (not that there's much of it!) is slowly being saved for small but effective mods until it is more to my liking. Externally, it'll just be wheels and lowering, but I'm working on the usual mods (FMIC, dump pipe, hi-flowed turbo, etc.)

I'm mainly on board to help you guys out, especially seeing as I'm already organising shirts, etc. for the club.

By the way, PLEASE ORDER A JACKET, EVERYONE - we need 20 orders at a time to make it economically viable.

I'm 90% sure i'm going to Paul's house on the 29th, but i'm also doing my car on the friday morning/arvo just before we go in, your more than welcome to come over here and do your car and then we could go in together if you want, either way i'd like to meet up with you and go in together anyway.

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
    • My return flow is custom and puts the return behind the reo, instead of at the bottom. All my core is in the air flow, rather than losing some of it up behind the reo. I realise that the core really acts more as a spiky heatsink than as a constant rate heat exchanger, and that therefore size is important.... but mine fits everything I needed and wanted without having to cut anything, and that's worth something too. And there won't be a hot patch of core up behind the reo after every hit, releasing heat back into the intake air.
