Each pad should have two metal shims that clip in to each other.

It is easy to throw them out when changing pads especially if you havn't ran a hose over the calipers to get most of the dust off.

Sounds exactly like my front right brake!!!!!

I bought the car and took it back for warranty cos the brake pads were non existent and the brakes squealed. When I got it back the squealing was worse. So I took it back again, they machined the discs, still squeals to this day.

Don't know if theres much you can do about it!! I've tried lots of different things! Every 33 I've seen has squealy brakes.

Just watch the Fast and the Furious, the 33 GTR's brakes squeal when he pulls up out the front of the shop!!

Pop down to Nissan and grab a set of Anti-squeel shims.

Nissan can even get parts if you want to rebuild your own RB20DET gearbox. They can get everything.

Not sure how expensive they are but as it usually goes with Genuine parts some are way overpriced some or normally priced.

Oh just a thought... If you can find any Z32 300ZX's in a wreaking yard grab the shims from there second hand.
