why would you go the WOLF 3d , all the fast jap cars run power fc or HKS fcon-v if you can find a good tunner that can work with HKS ,for all the poeple who are against HKS fcon-v all top secrect cars run the HKS fcon-v , i have a R34 fcon-v pro gold , i know that its heaps better that my S15 with the motec M48 , it comes down to your tunner if he happy to work with WOLf and has work good numbers with the R34 go the wolf ,

Wolf is an Australian company, thus it is not used in Japan where there are an abundance of other local products to choose from. Just because one tuning company decides to use the FCon-V doesn't make a suitable argument. You need to weigh up the features, price, add on capability, available tuners, install requirements, optional handest/screen etc. to get a good understanding of what you should choose. Each person is very different in their goals so there is no one single answer to what ECU that person should run.

I agree with what you guys are saying, but thats why im going to listen to my tuner and get a motec because i know that he has had a lot of experience on these ecu's. As for the power fc i know that they are ok for a bit of power but when you start going for bigger power you have to change afm and i also heard that not all injectors work on the power fc. My tuner was telling me that he has found many problems with the power fc in the rb25 neo. Is this correct?

mike alan rajab is tuning your car? why dont you get a motec off him? the only bad thing about a motec is their too expensive also you need to rewire a heap of shit

who said power fcs were bad? rob at creatd tuned a r34 GTT like yours with 300kw on 18psi with the custom injectors and have had not one problem.. im running a power fc, my brothers running a power fc, their the easiest and simplest ecu around, but if your tuner cant work with that then you will needa listen to alan :stupid:

cheers. Phill

hey phill, yeah thats what im gonna do if i decide to go for a motec. its not that power fc's are bad its only because i have noticed that when you put a power fc in your car its ok for a tune but as soon as you go for big power you have to change heaps of thing like air flow meter and they dont run all injectors. As for the motec you put it in once and you dont have to worrie about it. I will see because im still not sure what i want to do.

they run all injectors man, and all you need is to run a z32 air flow meter with a plug (see justjap) and your set, you can run 400kw off one of those.

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
