We recently had Powercruise visit Darwin. There were plenty of tough cars out and about. Here's a little vid of the shopping car:

Video doesnt really do it justice, my passenger was crapping himself.

Brad, this was in 2wd, 2nd gear. I managed to stuff my new twin plate clutch, would have given 3rd a go. It made 489rwhp on 21psi. I have a tank of avgas in it now so I will put it back on the rollers and crank some more boost into it.

Love the minis Heath, my mate is putting a couple together atm.

Fully aware of how to drift bud, order yourself a Powercruise DVD and have a look. During the cruise sessions you are NOT allowed to drift, powerskids only ie, no sitting on the brake making a heap of smoke. All I was doing was plating it in 2nd and letting the motor do the rest of the work.

MADE!!!!!!! lol dont worry brad we still like you.

yeah least you get to have some fun with your shows. motorvation is a dismal event. love the fact the stagea can get the tyres spinning when rolling without to much effort. awesome.

Thanks for the nice comments guys and girls. Got a nos kit ready to go on, should get me around 650rwhp, which is stiiiilllll not enough to catch up to Brad! Damn your Jun powered trolley :pwned:

Jun powered "VOLVO" LOLOLO!!

well thats no fun :(

'sif the yanks know anything about powerskids and burnouts! Don't you guys still chock the front wheels in a burnout comp? I have always thought that was the main reason drifting took off so fast in seppo land.

if you need nitrous to get 650HP, you need to build your motor a little better

A real good friend just dynoed his r32 at 600HP. with no nitrous and N1 turbos

Dont know who you are buddy but i am pretty sure you dont know much about my car. It is built to take 1000hp. Not sure where your mate got his car dynoed but 600hp at the rears on n1's is pretty high. Do I need to mention my run was done on 21psi?

yeah, his N1s are maxed out, time to upgrade

ill be happy with my measley 400 on an rb25

but why are you using nitrious instead of a larger turbo?

I dont know about aussie

but NOS Is like 200 bucks a small bottle to build.

at that price its more economical to pay for a larger turbo to me.

But sitll, your number is impressive

what turbo was that on?

    • An update regarding the registration with the DVLA I sent off the paperwork the day after I collected the car from the port, two weeks later it was all returned with a letter explaining they have rejected the application. This was because the cheque was £20 short for the road tax (I used a price list I found online). Nevermind it is what it is, it was sent back to them the following day with a new cheque. Fast forward another 2 weeks or so, I called them for an update to be told it had been rejected. Yesterday (16th September) I received the documents back along with another letter, this time it was because I didn't put an X in one box on the V750 (personalised number plate certificate), which declared that I had the rights to the personalised number plate. Why this wasn't mentioned in the first rejection letter, I don't know, but it could have saved this headache. The documents were sent back today, so fingers crossed third times a charm and it'll FINALLY be registered on the road just in time for the bad weather (woohoo!) To cheer myself up I lowered the front 25mm, was sick of seeing it sit like a monster truck. No idea how much clearance I'll have getting on and off the driveway, I'll worry about that when I can actually drive it
