Nah... mate of mine got an S15, and seriously you'd be happy with either cars - they're both very good cars. But I find the 34 more of a livable day to day... I often carry alot of gear, and passengers, plus I prefer a 6 cylinder.

Has the S15 got harder suspension? I do believe they are a more 'fun' car than a Skyline. Just not as roomy. If you can call any Skyline coupe roomy.

Probably a little bit firmer, but both were an equally soggy stock set up. Might be a little more fun to throw around the S15 I must admit, the seating position is also lower on the S15. But the Skyline is does feel alot roomier - the S15 felt a little claustrophobic to me, the interior space was probably on par or less than my previous car which was an N13 Exa.

I'd have to agree with andz69 though. If i were in your position, i'd keep the 05 wrx - they're nice rides and you won't see much performance advantages going to either the S15 or the R34 gtt. Get a GTR if you really wanna trade up.

If you like AWD keep the rex, you will probably be quicker in it because of this. If you want RWD (or IMO a real sports car) test drive the two and then decide. I use to have an JDM s15 and picked up a 33 4 days ago, i'm still deciding which one i like better. The skyline is better day to day though for sure, but the great ocean road will be the test.

Also the JDM s15 had extra 30kw, factory boost gauge, digital climate control, rear wiper, folding mirrors, different badging, different colored interior trim, no gay reflectors on the rear bar, different tail lights, xenon headlights, and a 180km/h speedo. There may be some other minor ones.

I'm sick of it...

i might regret it in the future, but meh...i wanna do what my heart tells me to do.

And do all S15's come with xenons? I thought the GTT comes with Xenons as well.

Does he GTT have climate control or is it just AC?

    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
