Gear Drive?

Hi all,

Just wondering if you can get a gear or belt drive for and RB26?

I have heard both a gtr skyline and a brand new wrx cruising around with what sounded like a gear drive (whining noise), an I have my GTR's engine out at the moment for a rebuild and was wondering if this exists and if so where can I get one?

I love the whining noise it makes and understand its a good option to have for timing.

Anyone?

Or does anyone know how that noise would have been produced from those two cars?

I believe the "whining" noise you refer to is actually the gearset in the gearbox, not a belt drive.

Yeah isnt it a straight cut set in the gearbox.

bugger thats more expensive than I thought, and not really required for my engine either.
