hey,

hows it going? I am just curious on what injectors people use for rb25dets. What bolt onto the standard fuel rails.

Do bosch 363's do the trick. or will a custom fuel rail be needed.

I am just asking cause a opportunity may arrise to get them cheaper than normal, if doesn't not fussed, but if it does, i'd just like to know which ones suit my rb25det. I plan on power fc, turbo upgrade, later on, and injectors would be needed.

thanks for ya help.

p.s

what would a set of 363's set me back retail.

cheers

I LOST MY CAR KEYS!!!!! have had troubles getting it matched, so the locksmith is making the new lock or something.

this sunday is the big day. just need to wire up fuel pump, and starter motor.

got everything now. before i send it to get piping done, so yeah i guess i'll pass on the injectors, but yeah you are right, get the thing running.

I can toot my horn though! and even make the sunroof go in and out.

the power of 12 volts!!!!!!!

hehe

i get the video camera when i first start it up, and hopefully post it up.

better not blow up

well i gotta drag bozz dow here on the weekend then.

otherwise it wont start. hope he is not going away.

get keys back tommorow. so who knows, could be earlier. but after all this i been waiting, can wait another week if it doesn't happen.

what is it now, over 12 months i think. (shoulda got that manual from the start) ahwell ya learn. got told the wrong things when i new nothing, gulable as always.

for sure. i did do a fare bit of homework. but as this is the first car i have ever had, and ever had experience with, i dont think i have done terribly bad. well yes i have, but at least i'm getting there.

been fun though. throwing spanners, and making custom aboirtion tools. and just punching the wall cause u cross threaded the damn screws on the sump.

At least i got to give the car some punishment back, when i was belting in the tunnel to fit the box .

hey did that 180sx on your website get on the road yet. if so has he run it, wondering what times they get.

have to get rid of the 205's on the back quick.

for those interested, i think the cost price for 363's was $89 each.

inasnt. i know theres another injector as big as the 363;s. i think 036. (not sure getting confused). but to put them on the vl's you only have to shave a little bit of the platic end bit.

so no cusotm fuel rail.

$165 an injector is a fare wack. i think the ones my mate was looking at was around $480 for the 6.

let me know if you are interested.

mate should buying a set soon, soo....

meggala, got some sad news for you.

bozz is unavailable to wire up the car.

However it is getting towed to get the intercooler mounted, eninge mounts modified, gearbox xmemba made up, custom plenum, dump pipe, and new front pipe.

so i guess its not too bad, just going about things in reverse.

at least i'll get to drive it for the first time i spose.

and my bonnet will close.

Hi guys, from vancouver here :D

first post here, so dont beat on me too badly.

I've noticed that USDM supra's have side feed injectors, would these fit on the rb25det? i've done a search and i haven't found anything about supra injectors

they're 550cc side feeds.

Thanks guys, and yes meggala, i checked your site. Who manufactures supra injectors? Denso?

    • Well, fun day was had, I finally found a house that will do me just fine, 1980's brick build, but with full fresh renovations, plus new colour bond fencing all round so puppies are incoming 🐕, and water tanks for the garden, and it's located in West Goulburn..... @Duncan 🫡, so day trips to Wakie to watch cars going Zoom will be on the cards In the end it cost well under my budget and was actually better than alot of the more expensive joints I was looking at, it is in a good area, close enough to the shops, public transport, and the Wollondilly River Weir,  and the great walking paths along the river, but far enough away from town to see minimal traffic The deposit is dropped, the conveyancer is conveyancing and I should get the keys in a week or 2 as the property is currently unoccupied  As with everything I own, I'm doing up a modifications list, as it doesn't have solar, that is first up on the big list, all of the panels and enough batteries to keep the joint warm, or cool, followed by a largish carport out the front, the small list, which will start as soon as I have keys, is some security stuff, like cameras, screens, and the usual "crazy prepper" additions that weird old people like (mouse holes to stick shot guns out of, and the usual man traps that the average person installs for the unsuspecting and unwanted guests 🤣) The gardens front and back are OK, but, not to my standards or liking, so landscaping will be a fun job to start getting into, so when spring is sprung I'll do a heap of planting, lots of natives and vegetables is the plan, the old owners were more "Old English Garden" type, so basically Roses and other weird looking things that are destined for the green waste bin One thing that is staying garden wise is a nice established hedge out the front, it is about 5 foot tall and covers the whole front of the property from prying eyes As for the car hoist, the roof in the garage has some height to it, but, I'll need to get an installer out to see what can be done, width wise may be a issue, but my building inspector will be getting back to me over the next week with his recommendations  Small, but cosy
