will this be alrite for an rb20 or abit laggy do u think..?

chris from mercury motorsprts told me it would have 1 bar of boost by about 4000rpm. was going to put it on my rb20 but need the cash.

it should be good on an rb20 because it produces more exh gasses than a sr20 and these are mainly an sr20 turbo..

i've got the same one on my car and so does deanr31.. this turbo is the sheitz! (very agressive)

free bump

so this wont bolt on to a stock rb20 t3 exhaust manifold then?

Would be interested if it does.

Cheers.

you can get an adapter to make it fit or just get the flange on the manifold changed

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
