From what I can gather they have new manufacturers for some of their kits & quality has improved. Was over for the Syd Autosalon recently & a business trader there (Smooth) sources some of their kits from VG & they seemed pretty happy with them.

when i got my kit from viva, one of my side skirts were not fitting properly.. i just did some cutting and sanding and bending... it fit nice after all that and painting etc., :)

it was some work to prep it and get it to fit nicely.. but it was very nice in the end.

i guess you will get better quality from the plastic kits.. but they cost shit loads more than the fibreglass stuff which usually does warp.

Just got Bn Side skirts and rear bar the other day from DMD rocked up cracked (not dmd's fault the couriers it was packaged very vell) But put the side skirts on my car they seem to fit but there to tight and crack around the corners so gona have to strengthen it up with more fibre glass i guess rear bar looks like its gona fit alrite. The only other thing im not happy with is on the side skirts as part of the skirt it says Monkey on there in the bottom back corner. This is because DMD distribute for Monkeyware house i could prolly sand it off but this should have been shown in photos or atleast told me about it before i bought it. I have heard nothing but bad about viva garage (very shit fitting kits) and when i rang them up to ask about the kit the guy was an absolute cock head so i went else where. Good luck either way you go let us know how ya go

    • all brand new unit from Tomei, fluid, bearings, etc. Tomei said they call it a 1.5 lsd because its 100 percent lock up under acceleration and 50 percent under deacceleration.  as I mentioned I used their fluid, install and their break-in procedure, (alot of figure 8's) but even when driving straight, or even slowly backing out of garage for first time, (at 2 mph) then driving to and from figure 8 parking lot, each tire in the rear would sporadically grab, skip, bounce, shutter and skip, shutter back a force I could feel causing clutch to slip then grab, at any speed. shaking entire car. I removed unit, since I put stock back in and all is fine, via process of elimination, its something with the lsd unit itself. I wasn't going to beat up the entire car more or change anything else for no reason as I had a feeling something in the lsd itself was wrong as everything was fine before this alone was installed and I rechecked over everything else after first time backing out I suspected an issue. I'll probably sadly already need new tires now just from trying to drive it 5 miles and performing the figure 8 break in. but if someone has any ideas I'm all ears
    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
