What Is The Right Rb26 Single Turbo More Than 700hp ?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I need help to find out the right turbo for my GTR R33 with

HKS 264 cam

Ported head

Metal Head Gaskets ( 2 mm )

Arias piston

H Beam connecting rods

Nismo bearing connecting rod

Tomei bearing main

1000cc injectors

2 X walbro fuel pump

HKS 4'' intercooler

OS clutch (triple plate)

Infinity throttle body

Oversize oil pan

HKS Circle Earth System

Greddy oil cooler

Greddy oil pump

Greddy intake

Greddy radiator

Geddy Valve springs

Greddy fuel delivery

ECU Microtech

Microtech X6 Ignition

I'm going to use it few hours on the weekend and I'm looking for the best turbo from 0 to 200 KM with correct A/R and trim

I'm not going to spend that much for it, maybe something like 2000 AUD max so I think I will go for none ball bearing

I was looking for Garrett GT4202 with small A/R (custom) but I think it's till big for my engine ! and PTE turbos

OR what do you think the best turbo 1/4

I will be happy to read your opinions about the right turbo and my R33

Regards

RB26

Well +700hp... and only going to 200km/h. Bit of a catch 22

I could think of turbos 700hp (or less) that would perform pretty well. Especially pitted against a lag beast GT42, which for a stock capacity RB26, is far too large and would make the car slower to 200km/h. 300km/h might be different, but debated on a motor that will struggle to spin the turbo.

IMO, your better off with a better suited GT35 & 350-370rwkw. That will fling you to 200km/h faster than something overtly large
