hrm I disagree on a stock Evo being a weapon - I drove Munro's Evo8 when he first got it and I thought it was quite slow- until an intake/exhaust etc is added a stock R34GTT would be on even par methinks. However once a few go-fast bits are added, then I will go with your statement.

what evo 8 did john get? i thionk he had the gsr not a gsr mr, but in the footage i have seen straightline evo8 is quicker then 04 sti, 04 audi s4, put the 34 against it on a track and the evo would absolutely demolish it

really depends what u want it for rb grunt n do some skids, or a awsome hill runner... im just going to keep buying x lotto tickets so i can have them all  hard choices then would be f430 or super leggara

hopefully ill get this 32 this week so i can go for a actual drive (auto jeep isnt really sporty) 1 of the last time i spoke to andrew would be wat 6 years ago when i had my r33? :bunny:

deep down i still want a 32 gtr also but be better buyings a rolling shell n go hit up pete at willall to build the running gear

mate there is no way that a stock gtt would beat a stock evo 8-9. i have owned both and my stock nine would kill a stock 34gtt so long as you dont bog down on launch that is. i know you may love you car as i do and as i did when i owned my gtt, but facts are facts stock evo is quicker especially on the track and in the twisties.

Once you start modding the line and the evo gtt might start to become on par as when i did ecu exhaust filter on my gtt the thing became a rocket straight line, however, too twitchy in the hills for my liking loads of fun though.

Still love the look of the 34 very sexy car well built too!

Congrats on the sale.

Thinking of getting rid of my 94 32GTR aswell. ANYONE WANT TO BUY IT?

N1 turbos , High flow intercooler (tilbrooks special), hks piping including dumps , full 3 1/2" exhast and 4" cat ,carbon cannon muffler 4', power fc , turbo timer (stashed), exedy twin plate (2,500 k's Old),pod filters andwindow tint ,alpine deck, focal speakers and alarm . Stock rims and all orig parts aswell. $35,000 in receipts 292rwks

As i said thinking . persuade me . Make an offer :) LOL

What were you originally asking for it and how many kms did it have?

I would say go for the 34GTR , so much more affordable these days. Mind you I have a soft spot for the bwap bwap noise

Just is that it wouldnt take the daughter in the back.

Haha nice plug. I wasn't selling it at all, it was more like he wanted it, and asked how much. Picked a number and got it. It had just over 93,000k's.

34 GT-R are still a bit too pricey for me, but I WILL own one at some point, probably after an FD which I am leaning towards...

and now ya wont get to see mine either :)

Yeh mate i noticed you had bought yourself a new addition to the sticker collection, Spewing about that, Touch wood i've been pulled over a few times but no canary issued as yet! Really should get the one off the rolla so i don't chance it with the line as much!

Keep us posted on how ya going with it!!!

    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
