Here are some pictures from my weekend (24/07/07).

This time i headed out with Keita to f*kushima again but not to Ebisu, rather another similar style course called S.S. Park. SS Park is smaller than Ebisu circuit but still boasts 3 seperate circuits (including a gravel course and soon to be built R.C. Course). It is smaller albeit maybe a little more professional than Ebisu. Though they really can't be compared, both have goo and points. Again with my partner in crime Keita, we went out to have a look and Keita entered the Competition held on the day. He didn't win, but he did do better than the poor guy in the Silvia... I was also pleased to see so many people with their children their enjoying the day and having fun. Very different from what i've seen back in Aus. Finally i wanna say a big thanks to Keita again and best of luck at Nikko!

Please enjoy,

Peter

Beautiful S15, which went on to totally destroy its front end only a few laps later...

hahah, no Delica space saver action this time hehe, but yeah. I'll get round to upping more videos from all events one day.. One day... .. .. .. ...

awesome pics! bad luck on the s13 bursting into flames...what happened?

S13 i think played with the fuel tank or pump or something. It wasn't clear, but he did something at home and mustn't have done it right and it went up in smoke. Was quite sad to see..

The after result =

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
