Hi as the title says when i drive my r33 for more than about half an hour this heat is coming from around my pedal area. It just warms up all around me and in particular my clutch pedal heats up alot. It can't be my clutch i dont think cause there is no clutch smell or anthing. What could be causing this?

I think I get what your describing as well, like if im driving along with no air on I get a nice warm almost blowing air down around my feet. I always just assumed it was heated engine bay air getting in from somewhere

the firewalls on late model 'Lines don't usually have any holes, apart from the a/c, heater hoses and throttle cable- but yeah, good idea to check to see if any rubber bungs might be missing.

i bet its the fact that you have your climate control heat on 32 degress or whatever and the setting/mode at your feet.

even if its comletly turned off, it still blows a little heat.

i noticed it when it stated to get colder and my climate contol would be set at heat (even if off). i just turn the climate control heat down or change the setting/mode if your not using it, and you wont notice it. i drive bare feet alot so i noticed it very easily

turn the climate control down, colder air.

chuck your head down there and look to the left you will see a little plastic snorkel thing, for Feet mode, that will be were its coming fom

when climate control is off, turn on the 2nd right hand button on the bottom right corner of climate control. the one with air flowiung in froom outside symbol. by activating this button it blocks the feet snorkel and air vents and allows excess heat to be dispersed from the heater unit to the outside instead of in the cabin at your feet.

    • Out of curiosity, how do you cover up the inspection hole? Surely it doesn't sit open like that, right? With grime and dirt coming in and oil going out?
    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything
