Hello Ladies and Gentlemen

Im Eddie, the new owner of a 1999 nissan stagea rs-four in silver, it is my first

turbo car, my first AWD car and my first wagon, and i absolutely love it.

I first paid a deposit on the car in december last year and a painfull 7 month

wait for importing and complience really tested my patience, but now that its

here it feels like it's worth the wait.

The car is stock as a rock for now, the only thing ive done so far was get a

mongoose alarm installed and am in desperate need of a new headunit as the

stock example apears to have gone past it's used by date.

It apears to have all of the options ticked that are spoken about in the buyers

guide and has only done 37.000 k's, it is simply immaculate.

I look forward to coming to the next meet, the site has been very helpfull with

information and i will be sticking around, i will get some pic's up soon.

7 month import process? Seems a bit long.

If its your first import be aware that the odo reading is probably way off. Its not that hard to wind them back and while Jap cars do a few less km's per year than aussie ones, its usually 10 000 km's per year as opposed to 25-30 000 km's per year.

Other than that, welcome.

Now.

Congrats! I was in your shoes not so long ago, (first turbo car, AWD etc etc) and its been great. You won't have any regrets with your purchase. 37000kms in 8 years is very little... do the maths but that might be wound back even. It about 88kms per week. Want to be careful because the timing belt is due at 100000kms service.

Welcome, welcome, welcome.....

Congrats on the purchase & dam you got some patience. Even that would have tested me & I got more than most.

Enjoy your new toy, be sure to check out the FAQ section, the guys & gals have put together quite a comprehensive library.

thank you for your welcome's and yes the car was a test vehicle for the complience workshop,

i am just glad i had another car at the time, that made it a little bit easyer.

I am aware that the car could be clocked back but if it is it's not by much as the car is prestine,

nothing is worn, no panels have been replaced etc, the private vehicle tester said that he had

never come across such a clean example of stagea.

I have used used the faq section and it has answered many questions, this is an excelent site.
