I think we hear alot about skylines getting stolen, problem is there is too many victims to worry about and the cop bashing gets worse becase 90 percent of the time nothing is done about it.

good luck getting it back dude.... hope its not trashed!

This is F*#KING nuts... people please lock 'em up secure, get an alarm if you don't have one coz these pricks are getting more brazen every day!!

It its stolen and been dumped, and they've tried to set it on fire, I dont think they'll come back for it? If SAPOL where notified, they may tow it back to their compound and try to get prints/evidence, thats what they did when they found mine.

They normally wont place it in a secure compound unless its been reported and the owner has agreed to pay the costs for it be down if the police find it.

Speaking of stolen cars I had my old(crap) car stolden week and half ago reported it, didnt expect it to be found got a call from police they found it up at christies beach somone was still driving it lol :)

Yeah and everytime a skyline gets stolen it sends our premiums up also, paying 200 more than last year due to alot of skylines being stolen...

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
