Installed mine two weeks ago, noticed a massive difference in low down torque compared to my remap by AutoSports Engineering.

Excellant value for $150 I must say.... Will get the car dynoed soon to see how much power it is really pushing out.

I'm interested in the remap, at the moment on my R32 I have:

3" turboback exhaust

Stock cat (gutting it or putting in decat pipe.. need to visit exhaust shop as bolts are stuffed)

FMIC + POD

Stock turbo @ about 12 psi

Have a fuel pump ready to throw in.

I'm not sure how much power I'm making, though its not very impressive. I hit fullboost at about 3500rpm, when does this tune? and what boost is it running?

Is the reason for the lower rev limit because the turbo's running out of puff up top?

And is there any real difference between the Rb25 and neo turbo's? All I've heard if rumours .

- Stock RB20DET tune is extremely rich

- It's tuned for 14PSI, but I'm game and running 15PSI :)

- Rev Limiter in place to prolong life of motor

- RB25DET = steel compressor wheel

- RB25DET NEO = Nylon compressor wheel

The remap did next to nothing on my RB20.. the power curve and afr curve were identical (did back to back runs on the dyno), but I did gain an extra 5hp at the top end.

Also the valet mode map switching didn't work.

On the plus side, limits were removed which was great as when I put the RB30 in it just hit R&R all time. RB30 is now running quite nicely on the remap from CEFFIE due to no R&R, so it wasn't a total loss

Also because I had a cradle fitted to the spare ecu, that's $200 I save off my tune/remap next week :P

If I didn't get this remap kit, I wouldn't have been enjoying my twincam 30 for the last 2 weeks

    • So you can then buy a more expensive, less reliable, more boring and slower replacement that's harder to work on and you have no knowledge of?
    • Will take much better photos when the time comes, I still want to do a sub 1m50s on street tyres at SMSP (just because). Then will slap on proper tyres and see if the car can get down to 1m40~45s range. If it goes sun 1m40s without aero, then wow.. but I don't expect the shit box to go that fast.
    • I have the OS Giken R3C with the GM 26 spline input shaft in my 32(Rb32 with only around 750hp atw) and its a pig to drive. Its actually very forgiving when its cold when when its warmed up, it chirps the tires even when trying to take off slowly. Mind you though, part of this has to do with my clutch master(Non-OEM) so the travel on the rod is shorter. How did you get 1130hp at 85% @e50?! Are you running a stroker? If so, I would recommend the R3C purely because it handles the abuse.
    • First time trying out a regularity format at the Peter Hall Memorial 6hr. It was an interesting experience with everyone on our team being brand new to the format. Safe to say reading and understanding the rules and scoring system would have really helped our team. We finished firmly last thanks to the majority of all laps across the team being penalties. In the words of my teammate Matt “Turns out we are both too quick and illiterate.” Another car had entered before us and already secured number 12 so i needed to clearly cross them out to avoid confusion for any other blue calsonic livery'd r32s at the event. The team consisted of an R32, an AE86, a supercharged V35, and a Kia CEED GT bought at salvage. I ensured we all had matching "Peer Pressure Racing" banners and overalls. This is the longest session of back to back hot laps the car has ever done (20mins no cool downs on a hot day).  It was a true test of the cooling /oil control mods and they certainly made big difference! Enjoy watching me lose 14 concurrent points for the team:  Unfortunately I only managed 45mins of track time over 3 sessions (20min, 20min, 5min) out of my allotted 90mins before my gearbox let go. Something related to shifter fork resulting in 3rd being neutral quickly followed by all gears neutral, then it being lock in two gears at once and unable to move. Optimistically there were no bad noises. But I am yet to pull box out and diagnose. Fortunately i was also to snag a tow home while I slapped a permit on the Kiaa which came on a trailer
    • Haha thanks for reply man Trying luck and Hoping to find one from all the sources, it's hard to find one as Nissan stopped production on sunroof glass panels
