Well i pulled my car apart the long way this weekend and i havnt seen a picture of a heatercore on the site.

I got this from NATRAD for $190, however you can get it direct from www.autoheat.com.au for $185 on their website. I got qouted $140 for 2nd hand one.

On a side note Did you happen to have a rattle around the heater core area in your R33? I have one that comes and goes but is extremly annoying.

I think that rattling noise you're experiencing is from worn out gears. Does it happen when you're changing from hot/cold or face to feet?

I have that one too, but the one I was talking about here happens on bumpy roads, sounds like a bit of plastic floating around

i replaced the one in my sons r33 the nadrad guy was great said to use one from a 300 zx was only about 120 bucks and fitted exactly the same

ohh yeah it took me 8 Hrs over 2 days.. it was really fun.

My old ford was the same, have to pull everything out back to the firewall and drain the air con system to get the heater box out and then you have to cut the heater box to get the core out, lost of fun, luckily i sold it instead of doing it my self.

Once it was out back together it wouldnt switch from hot to cold so they pulled it all out again to check everything before they realised it was just one of the last plugs that powered the motor that they had not plugged back in.

So... do you have pics of the heaterbox assembly also? Specifically the magic clicking motor/lever/whatever that most R33's have? (and perhaps a pic of the direction it sits behind the dash)
