Well for those who remember, i got this turbo of gBay.

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...2896&hl=RX7

So i finaly took it apart, and actually got soem numbers for the compressor.

Compressor Size (mm) : Humm is it the inner or the outer part, Exducere is 70mm, inducer 54mm.

Compressor Trim: 59

Compressor Cover Ratio and what it's off: RX7 front A/R .89 or so i am lead to belive, however i mesured it to be somwhere about .65-.75????

Turbine Size (mm) : Couldn't get the housing off DAM IT. But it's same as slides rear rb25 high flow.

Turbine Trim: as above

Turbine housing Ratio and what it's off:It's an RB25 rear housing high flowed.

As the turbo is in good nick, once i clean it up, and put seals through it to make sure it does not leak.

Would it be ok on an Rb25?

sounds like a surge prone sort of turbo.

My guess with a "59 trim" and a largish front wheel, it could be.

hhmmm

My GT3037 is just a little bit bigger than those specs, so this could be closer to a 2835 or something like that, but I wouldn't expect it to perform as well.

Maybe expect about 230rwkw at the most?

    • thanks for the advice on the box... i was thinking the 6 speed was better for cruising on the highway but on closer inspection and comparison the Rb 5 speed box was not too different...  So the choice is going to be the RB25 box... if I can save up and find one at the right price
    • Thanks Matt, yes that's what i am aiming for. Just going to apply the right voltage and grounds to the dash connector. Hence my search for these pins... any chance you know if these pins are in the same spot as the ones on the S15 Dash connector? as mentioned above on page 8?
    • Yes, unfortunately that's the one. Signal was noisy to begin with; after driving once and looking back at the logs I saw pressure constantly swinging between 0-200psi, or staying at 0 randomly for a few seconds. There's a lot of good sensors that share the same look and feel, so don't presume they're all bad. I bought mine for 20$ off Amazon and I should have read the reviews prior, as it's clear they're junk.  I purchased a lowdollerr motorsports sensor.
