evenin folks,

hoping this thread will be slightly more successful then my last one (even though that was a laugh for the most part).

im looking at organising a paintball day sometime after september (gonna be a busy month at work), so probably around late oct/early nov... or whenever's good for the majority.

thinking of making the booking at 'paintball park' in elizabeth.

been there a couple times, staff are a load of fun, the equipment is always in good condition, ammo's cheap as chips ($140 for 1000 ), and theyre constantly expanding the playing areas.

the more the merrier (aiming for 40+), so if youre keen, ask your mates, and get them to ask their mates, and so on and so forth, lol.

if i get enough interest, ill start making all the arrangements in the next couple weeks.

deposits of $20 will be collected soon after.

thanks,

dave.

here we go with the northern bashing

for those that havent been to paintball park, there IS an enclosed parking lot, that is within sight of the break area. so your cars should be safe.

thats a point.

but safety in numbers i reckon.

how many skyline thieves are there?

if theres 30 cars, surely they wont all get flogged.

maybe one or 2 that turn up late and park on the outskirts of the car park, but the rest should be fine.

so how much roughly is it each? we gota buy 1000 balls do we? never done paintball before, ill prob be keen

go team old school's

can we ban those army commando guys though  , that’s just an unfair advantage

its probably best to budget a couple hundred bucks, especially if we make a good solid day of it.

basic pack is $35, this gets you;

100 paintballs.

Tippmann 98 semi automatic paintball marker hire. (Extremely reliable and easy to use).

20oz CO2 bottle hire. (800+ shots).

FREE CO2 refills all day.

JT Mask hire. (Fog resistant lens & chin strap).

Camouflage overall hire. (Padded neck, throat & back of head protection).

FREE padded vest hire. (Protects front & back).

Safety speech / briefing.

Marker (paint gun) briefing & practice.

Referee/s assisting your group at all times on the playing fields for safety, assistance & coaching.

FREE BBQ facilities (Arrange before the day of play. BYO food, utensils etc).

Half or full day field use.

NO extra cost to play all day!

extra ammo is;

100 paintballs $ 20 ($20 per 100)

300 paintballs $ 54 ($18 per 100)

500 paintballs $ 80 ($16 per 100)

1000 paintballs $140 ($14 per 100)

i tend to go through atleast 1000 per outing (but im trigger happy on prozac... and i plan on breaking the record this time)

but 500 should suffice for most people.

its good fun, you wake up a bit sore the next day, but its all worth it.

its fairly close quarters stuff, so the commando advantage is pretty small

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
