a new business IconAutoworkz (www.iconautoworkz.com.au) is having a grand opening next Friday August 31st at their new premises of Unit 6/3 Mertonvale Circuit down in Kingston. This is the business everyone has been waiting for with stocks (yes thats right a business who STOCKS what you want) of:

- BODYKITS (Uras, GP Sports and many others in stock)

- EXHAUSTS

- EXTERIOR ACCESSORIES

- STEREO EQUIPMENT

- COOLING PRODUCTS

- ENGINE PARTS

- INTERIOR PARTS (such as seats, steering wheels, gear knobs and many more.....)

- TURBOCHARGERS (Agents for people like KKR and Garrett turbochargers)

PLUS MANY OTHER PARTS AND ACCESSORIES!!

IconAutoworkz is the ONLY place in Tasmania that stocks what YOU want. No more buying off EBay, overseas.....the mainland. Everything in stock from next Friday and if it isnt in stock they can 100% get it in for you, regardless of what it is.

Drop by from 6pm to check out the new premises, have a chat to Brendan and the team and see what is on offer. You might as well get used to dropping by because they are here to stay. This is the business Tasmania has been begging for guys and girls, dont miss out on the opportunity and get down next Friday and check it out before everyone else does.

Hope to see you all there.

now this isnt so much a promotion of a new business....but more so a likely change to how things are done in tasmania......

iconautoworx arent so much looking to make money, but more so to make a change to the local car scene and cater more for the enthusiasts......

one thing they are looking to do is provide a place of meeting on friday nights for those ppl that dnt mind catching up with like minded enthusiasts at there shop front, which will include music, bbq's, dvd's couches etc....pretty much a meeting place similar to kmart friday night meets, but on a more controlled exclusive kind of level....

the opening will be a chance to have alook around the store and speak to staff and offer ideas and wat ud like to see happen.....a number of the drift cars will be display for u to have a closer look over...a BBQ and drinks will be on offer, while a variety of DVD's will be shown

so drop by between 6pm and 10pm, chat to like minded ppl, grab a snag and drink and relax in a safe controlled environment unlike other local meets

I got a flyer about them on my windscreen about this a few weeks back. It was actually scary cause i was in South Hobart at night and left my car for 2 mins and this was on there and i didn't see anyone. Makes me wonder how quick people can be that steal cars. NOt that i'm saying these people steal cars lol.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
