but only doin u bolts and the such, never sideways lol.

plus i know from experience (i thot i told u bout my prelude, remember the one that ended under a truck) that drifting autos is not a good idea

or front wheel drive for that matter.

FWD SUCKS..

yeah never drifft a Fwd.. pointless and not really a drift.. a drift is sideways entry sideways throughout till the end of corner..

my brother got his R34 sideways many a times.. quite scary.. but he would drive in top tronic and spin up 265 potenzas RE010

put too much power into that..

lol thats the same as with my auto, not tiptronic but too easy to lose. get to acc happy and u end up dropping down a gear and spinning.so neway back on topic, if i do end up coming to this thing, i dont fancy goin out clubbin cos ill prob have the misses *thinks for a second* waitaminute, i could tell her i want her to spend the night with her friend as she just got back and say i dnt wana inturpt a girly nite, wich would leave me open to do nething! cept get drunk cos i wud not be able to catch a taxi home lol and WOULD NOT be leaving my skyline in sum car park overnight, what have u got planned?????

guys not to worry about leaving ur prized possesion at just any carpark.. ive organised Griffith uni nathan undercover carpark (patroled) to park in there as long as no one does any skids or anything silly .. we will be fine :)there is no time limit for parking and its free

reason for u to come out with us .. u never know whats tomm brings.. come out party play a bit .. and next day we all go bk home like nothing happened

Teena.. have ur camera ready for evidance lol jks

im not footing the bill for everyone to have an orgy in a motel lol. not much point cos everyone live in brissy ne way so y wud they wana pay instead of go home to a proper bed?

Not asking to foot the bill, just share. And the orgy isn't for everyone. Just you,Vish and his late night caller. Not sure if its a him or shim. :(

But I'm sure if you offer to foot the bill we'll let you watchnew_shocked.gif if you dont want to join in.lol

come to a coffee night and soon your mind will be as corrupt as ours

Jokes aside it would be a top night.

    • Bummer...yeah i "need" something to "ease" up the work and for my driving it would be enough.    Iam counting the tune "without" turbo. I do not mean "cheap" like something from Temu around 200 USD, "Cheap" is something around 1000 USD?
    • Starter motors used to use the weight of metal (magnets) to provide torque. Now they use (more) current instead. This. It's completely normal.
    • So thing that had me stumped, but I think is OK....is that when it was up in the air, in neutral I had it running to bleed to coolant while I put the wheels back on. I noticed the rears were turning (slowly) which I'd never seen before 20250928_163512.mp4     Because there had been an issue with clutch slip due to pedal adjustment on the dyno, I assumed there was still and issue so spent some quality time upside down under the dash adjusting the pedal....but no matter what I did the wheels still turned in neutral. Even disconnected the master cylinder to pedal rod and same. In despair, I even removed the clutch slave so there was no chance of any preload causing it.....still happened. So either: 1. Something is not right in the bellhousing, or 2. Its a thing sometimes with cold, thick gearbox oil Internet says it might be 2, I hope so!
    • OK, few more things sorted and it is ready for a shakedown on 10-Oct, with one weird thing. Changed the run in oil and filter for the good stuff. 8l came out, about 8.5 went in with filter so that looks all good. Changed the starter (again), this time for a brand new one, works good. Interesting that the Taaaarks one is shorter than factory but spins harder, I guess electronics have moved on a little in the last 30 years. Will be nice to have a bit of extra space under there. Put the timing cover back on, and noted where the cam gears were set as a record.  Will need to double check the timing but it is pretty close. Also put the coil pack cover and intake snorkel back on. Exhaust Inlet Changed the water out for coolant, bled up nicely. Removed the rear brake pads (well worn factory sumitomo ones!), gave the hardware a good clean and reassembled. I've put bendix XP on the back again because the price is excellent at $150 a set and they worked well on the V37. Front pads have plenty so no issue there
