Cheers for the warm welcome

The car is still in the shop, should be driveable by the end of next week :D

Not sure if i can make the dyno day, but we'll see. Met a few of you on various cruises through nissansilvia.com and modified nissan. good times haha

RBONEVIA has a onevia, with an rb20. a 180 front end with a silvia rear end

The CA had its run. Got it to squeeze out the most it could, then had a bit of a thinking session and decided 6 cylinder 2 liter was the way to go :P

I've still got the CA if anyone is or knows anyone who'd be interested??

anyone know where i can get an inlet plenum from, that won't cost alot of money? hehe

i bet she'd pull more than 99kw now buddy

HAHAHA damn right! it went through alot of modification after that GREAT day, so it ended up pulling alot more. bigger turbo, custom piping, injectors, fuel pump, computer ect. but yes, the RB will be a bit more powerful haha

guess i should post some specs.

180sx

stock RB20 internals

GT30/37R

custom manifold

custom 3" dump/front pipe

3" straight through exhaust

half inch fuel feed line

walbro 040 fuel pump

fuel pressure regulator

the later on mods:

custom inlet plenum

700cc injectors

Microtech. or Power FC D-Jetro if i can find one

17" Work Meister S1 2P on the way

pics will be up soon :)

RB - ajsx.... Ive got a custom RB25DET plenum that Im not using if your interested...

Its a cut and shut from standard job but its really neatly done and works well, especially with a programmable ECU, the car it came off made 330kw at the wheels.

If your interested I can get some pics of it and post them up.

    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
    • Ah coolant overflow, previous discussions make way more sense now lol.
    • ok. Yea, then I would need to remove the turbo and weld an adapter on to it instead, if I fuc* this one up.
    • No. Only for a standard ECU with/without Nistune. Standalone has no need for it. That's like the 3rd time I've said so.   And as to that sensor linked - yes, it does look like it would be the right one. I've never bothered to see how available they were - just assumed that they'd be hard to find. I think I'd be planning to go Link ECU rather than buy sensors I don't actually want to make Nistune work, if I did not already have Nistune. As you do not already have Nistune, you should realy consider your options.
